1. The file will contain 2 records for example. You can delete these records or just change the data with your own addresses.
2. One record per address. Make sure to identify if it is either URL or EMail by clicking the appropriate radio button spot. The special find buttons uses that information to quickly separate address.
a. Enter Name - Person, Business or Web Page, etc. (Keep brief if possible)
b. Enter Address - E-Mail or URL. (Enter complete address)
c. Enter Info - (E-Mail Only) A short description, title, country, etc. (This is
optional)
d. Enter Category - This isn’t added to the code but is used for you to find different
categories to copy and paste into the HTML Document. It is recommended that you
develop separate categories for example. Find, sort, copy and paste E-Mail
addresses for a specific country or state to be listed or categories of WWW Pages,
Entertainment, Sports, etc.
e. Enter Additional Info - This can be lengthly if desired. The text is added on after
the address if extra note is needed to express highlights of a particular WWW Page
for example.
3. Just one data file is needed to store both E-Mail or URL addresses. Use the provided buttons to keep them organized while you manipulate data.
4. This is a typical FileMaker® Pro file so all restrictions and database management rules apply as with any FileMaker® Pro file.
5. When you have finished entering all addresses or are completed with editing any addresses, Press the required URL Picker or E-Mail Picker button to choose a style of code you desire on your Web Page. Choose the style by pressing Single Code, Single Space or Double Space button as desired and then use the sort button on the next layout to sort by Name. Then Press <Command><Option><C> to copy contents of layout to the clipboard to be pasted in whole into the HTML Document. That’s it! Single Code can also be obtained from Data Entry Layout.
Sorting and <Command><Option><C> are not required for Single Code editing.
